Upgrade for the factory 7.3 Powerstroke turbos this a great upgraded wastegate controller. On a factory wastegate, the actuator rod moves with very little boost creating a power loss. This wastegate includes a larger diaphram and spring system to keep more boost longer. 


The stock OEM wastegate is effective for normal boost pressures, but when the engine is upgraded or modified the oem wastegate opens too early. The factory wastegate has a soft spring opening early which causes power loss. More boost with the accompanying fuel creates more power. This Wastegate Actuator for the 7.3 Powerstroke features more diaphragm area and spring pressure than the stock wastegate. 

This wastegate actuator holds its position under high boost and rpm, for precise boost control.
